Stroke Onward X ElevenLabs

Thank you, Stroke Onward, for sharing my story so thoughtfully.

Looking back at 2020, I never imagined how much my life would change. Aphasia took away something I once took for granted, my ability to communicate easily. There were moments of doubt, frustration, and even questioning myself.

But over time, I realised that healing does not come from blame. It comes from acceptance, reflection, and taking small steps forward each day.

Writing became that step for me. It gave me a voice when words felt out of reach. Through that process, I slowly began to rebuild not just communication, but also my identity.

I am also continuing to expand my voice by exploring new tools like AI audio through ElevenLabs to make my stories more accessible. A new audiobook, Brokenness Becomes Beautiful, will be available soon, and that feels especially meaningful to me as I continue finding new ways to connect, share, and be heard.

Thank you for helping to make these stories visible and for reminding stroke survivors that our voices still matter.
