Thankful to Vibes by @vibesby8world for featuring Can You Hear Me? and for the care taken in telling this story.
In the article, Evelyn Khoo, founder of @aphasia.sg , shared:
“Aphasia: Reframed was a rare opportunity for honest conversations with the public. Can You Hear Me? captured the loneliness and social isolation experienced by persons with aphasia. I hope everyone in Singapore will get to watch this someday.”
I was deeply moved by the reflections shared by friends and members of the audience after the screening.
Wendy Lim shared,
“A stroke changed how Terence speaks, not what he wants to say.”
Janet Leaw reflected,
“Witnessing how deeply aphasia affects a person’s life was heartbreaking. I hope greater awareness helps people feel seen and supported.”
These voices remind me why this film exists.
Can You Hear Me? is not just a film. It is a shared conversation.
Thank you to everyone who watched, reflected, and listened. ❤️
短片“Can You Hear Me?”
逾百名观众日前齐聚新加坡管理大学(SMU)出席短片“Can You Hear Me?”
“Can You Hear Me?”
‘Can You Hear Me?’
